While I’m posting headcanons tonight, might as well talk about height.
Karkat is so short. So, so short. Aradia may be around the same height, but Nepeta is actually a bit taller.
Following Nepeta is Feferi, who’s just below average, then Terezi.
After Terezi is Eridan, who’s also about average, and then there’s Sollux and Vriska.
Kanaya is the tallest girl. Then it’s Equius.
Gamzee looms over everybody except Equius when he’s slouching. When he’s not, no competition.
Tavros would be between Equius and Kanaya height, but as it stands, he doesn’t.
As far as the humans go, John and Karkat are actually the exact same height. John’s delighted to discover this, because in his words, “dave’s a tree, jade’s an amazon, and rose…”
Then he gives the sulkiest pout and drops the subject because it’s barely a matter of inches between him and Rose and it’s SO NOT FAIR.
The Alpha kids go Dirk, Jake, Roxy, and Jane. Jane is definitely where John gets his height, because she’s adorably little.
